Goodness Ogeyi Odey is a public health professional working at the intersection of health equity, health systems strengthening, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). With six years’ experience spanning program management, partnership brokering, research development, and advocacy, she focuses on translating evidence into practical, community-facing change.

Goodness recently completed an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing (LSE/LSHTM), with research examining sector-wide approaches (SWAps) to health financing in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Her experience includes contributing to a WHO HQ internship on implementation guidance for self-care in SRHR across four countries, and supporting evidence synthesis on financing community health systems across selected Sub-Saharan African contexts through an LSE-linked research internship.

Across roles, Goodness has led projects from strategy to delivery—such as managing a $10,000 IAS Youth Hub Seed Grant project in The Gambia that trained 24 community health workers and engaged 100 young mothers, alongside broader community outreach involving 600+ stakeholders.
She has also managed a $9,000 menstrual health equity initiative in Nigeria that reached 1,100+ participants, while supporting resource mobilisation efforts that raised $30,000 for community health systems work.

Goodness is available for collaborations in health policy, financing, SRHR, and evaluation.
